The Story of Danu

L is in charge of socialization. He ensures all Danu’s kittens are snuggled, exercised, cuddled, and groomed. Danu Ragdolls are truly part of our family. They experience the vacuum cleaner, joyful and playful human boys bouncing in the house, familiar and unfamiliar people coming and leaving. This model of socialization develops our kittens to be resilient, curious, and adaptable. L’s favorite times with his cats are: snuggle time with Cashew in his bed and Snowball relaxing on the floor nearby while he plays legos.

Jeremy loves animals. He loves seeing dolphins swim under him while surfing, watching birds of prey circle high in the sky, hearing owls hoot and screech at night, and any other critter wiggling through the world. Jeremy has had a variety of pets; the usual like cats and dogs and the unusual like crawdads and ants. Today, he is a middle school science teacher in north county San Diego, Ca who is passionate about connecting his kids to the natural world. Danu Ragdolls is a project that allows his family to practice compassion, responsibility, and service to their community.

G’s favorite moment with his cat Snowball is rolling over in bed, hitting the snooze button, and curling into a warm kitty. He also likes it when Cashew wakes him up in the morning when he nuzzles his face into G’s hair. G has an affinity for making short videos that showcases his passions: adventuring, such as waking up in the predawn hours to go ocean fishing and camping in the southern california deserts in search of geodes.
